Our Story

Alex and Emily fell in love with farming during their four years living in Saskatchewan. That chapter of their life sparked a deep connection to the land, animals, and the values that come with a farming lifestyle. When they returned to Ontario to start a family, they were married in the heart of Perth, a town that quickly captured their hearts and felt like home. They knew it was where they wanted to raise their children and build their future.

Owning a farmhouse with land had always been their dream. Six years later, that vision became a reality in their dream town—just 10 minutes from downtown Perth. Their farm is nestled on 90 beautiful acres, 25 of which are forested with mature maple trees that create a breathtaking view, especially in the fall.

After raising their own animals and experiencing what real, honest food should taste like, they knew they wanted to share it with others. This passion led to the creation of Westbrook Farm; a family-run business rooted in transparency, care, and community.

Established in April 2022, Westbrook Farm has grown each year thanks to the support of loyal customers and the dedication of the Westbrook family. Alex and Emily are strong supporters of local initiatives, contributing to fundraisers and community efforts throughout the year.

Their mission is simple: to raise animals ethically and with respect, providing them with the best possible life. In doing so, they offer their customers ethically farm-raised meat that reflects their values and their commitment to quality. At Westbrook Farm, food isn't just a product ... it's a promise to do better, for the land, the animals, and the people they serve.
